This is a great store if you have a tight budget. You can find many essential products for much cheaper than your regular store. For instance, basic hairbands (a pack of 50) is a £1, whereas in Sainsbury a pack of 10-15 costs £2. I got all the party essentials for my little one (party hats, glow bands, balloons, balloon pump, table cloth, candles) much cheaper than Amazon/local supermarkets. They now added PEPCO clothing brand in store and the quality and price especially for kids are great.

The floor layout has been completely changed and a self-checkout has been added. I'm sure it will be a big improvement once I get used to it but at first I was totally confused. After three visits I'm getting used to it. It helps to joke about it. Last time, as I came out, I saw a woman entering for the first time and looking totally confused, gob smacked. I said, "Don't worry, everything's changed except they still charge money for the goods😆🤣".

Literally the MOST AMAZING pound shop in Sussex! Really thinking of driving from the coast to get things I need !! Worthing ... Brighton are all totally useless with no stock and rude staff!! However Jo and her team Are super helpful and always have good stock and the store is always super clean and super organised! And if they don’t have what you want or need!! They will try their best to get it for you !! Or find you an alternative!! Amazing !! 5 ⭐️ 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫. STARS ⭐️ ALL AROUND!!! 👍👍💫💫💫💫

Better layout of shelves but I don't like the self checkouts. There are a couple of staffed counters, but hardly any staff to service them :(

The East Grinstead Poundland is of good size and stocks a wide range of products. Everything sold is good value and of a good quality for the price. The staff are always busy re-stocking and keeping the store tidy. When the queue gets even slightly longer than it should, more staff quickly start serving. Overall, quick service and good value products.
