Outstanding service. So glad I chose this store to buy my toddler’s first glasses. Nicola Wright has been incredible with my daughter and very patient with me choosing the right frames. I’m so happy with the glasses. They look great and the ophthalmologist at the hospital said they were a perfect fit.

Arthur Hayes is my favourite opticians. I have tried others but Lucinda is so knowledgeable and has really helped me with my prescription and general eye health. She also helped my teenage daughter get better, more trendy glasses that she felt more confident in. Very important at that age. I can not recommend the whole team at Arthur Hayes enough

I have worn spectacles since I was four years of age so have had the opportunity to have my eyes tested by many opticians over the years. Lucinda, at Arthur Hayes, is the most competent and thorough optician to have tested my eyes and I have every confidence in her and the rest of the team who are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Lucinda found my Glaucoma at such an early stage that I only lost 1% of sight in 1 eye & with a referral to the QVH eye clinic I remain stable even after several years. I cannot recommend her highly enough; she is calm, thorough,professional & always has time to listen, explain & talk about the next stages of treatment. With Glaucoma I am entitled to free treatment elsewhere but I trust Lucinda with my sight & happily choose to carry on using Hayes.

Fantastic Opticians, my daughters glasses needed fixing today and it was done extremely quickly and efficiently without an appointment. Great aftercare. Cannot recommend Lucinda and Arthur Hayes enough.

This opticians is outstanding! The care and attention that is given to each client is amazing, our daughter has got additional needs and Lucinda and Nicola always take their time to answer all of Belles questions and listen to all her worries and points! They never get offended at her directness and they support us if she shows signs of being overwhelmed. Lucinda is excellent at her job and we wouldn’t go anywhere else for our kids ( or us! ) 10 thousand stars given by us!

Having used a well known chain for years, I decided to seek out the expertise of an independent for contact lenses. The previous company found my rather unusual requirements too difficult and gave up. Lucinda and the team were amazing. Thorough and professional and I have a really good outcome. The level of thought and expertise that delivered me a solution I'm delighted with was incredible. The only downside is I now have to admit that my Mother was right! Not an easy thing to do. I can highly recommend Arthur Hayes optician’s. From making an appointment, having a sight examination to choosing a pair of glasses the service was excellent, very professional but also very friendly and helpful. I value my sight and would not go anywhere else. It’s worth paying the extra money. You don’t need designer frames but you need decent lenses.. You get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny.
