Love this opticians. First appointment today and very impressed. Friendly, professional and NO hard sell. Moved to this optician because I found my old optician just kept trying to sell me products I didn't want and actually didn't need. 'Which?' reviews gave independent opticians the best ratings over chains (in terms of value, care and professionalism) and I have to say I'm glad I found Alexander Opticians as there aren't too many independents around any more.

Our experience of getting eye tests and glasses (for a family of six) at Alexander Opticians was exceptional. The team were brilliant at helping us – kids, teenagers and adults alike – to choose the right frames, and to decide on the best lenses, including balancing budget and quality. I have used these opticians for the last 2 years for my childs glasses which started through the pandemic and there were not many opticians which would view my childs eyes with the condition that she has. On my last visit Nathan and his team were exceptionally helpful and really engaging when sizing glasses for my daughter. The service and staff friendliness was exceptional.

I have been going to Alexander’s Opticians since I was 4, 23 years later it’s just as amazing. They always do a fantastic job and on hand to help with anything glasses related! They’ve looked after my whole family, especially Nathan who has found perfect glasses and sunglasses for al of us. He really does know everything there is to know about lenses!

Terrific after care service - I had an arm break on my glasses recently, the team put in a temporary repair same day & as glasses were covered under warranty, received a new pair shortly after (with no stealth costs). No hassle whatsoever. Great team, great service. Nothing is too much trouble.

With a complex prescription, it is essential for me to have complete confidence in my optician. I feel so blessed to have found Alexander Opticians: they have demonstrated that they will do their upmost to get the best lenses for my needs, and to adjust them as necessary. Having had mistakes on my prescriptions twice with two different high street opticians I went to Alexanders after a recommendation from a friend. From the start the service was so professional as well as funny and friendly. I had some complicated requirements and was very indecisive about my frames. The staff were all super helpful and 100% focused on helping me get glasses that I loved and that worked for me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would definitely recommend to a friend.
