Howard was very professional and helpful, diagnosed problem very quickly and although unable to fix gave good suggestions on replacements, was nice enough not to charge for the call out also. Highly recommended.

Next day, on time, Howard arrived and after taking the unit out of the built in cupboard, in no time he diagnosed a broken overload protector, replaced it and topped up the refrigerant gas and left us with a working unit. I phoned the gentleman at Electricold and he asked me to explain the situation my freezer was in. The freezer had iced and then the temperature had lowered and the emergency light would not go off. Had an issue with a glass fronted fridge which would turn on but not get cold. Called Electricold who arranged a convenient time to come and fix the issue. Howard arrived when he said he would and had the issue fixed within 20 mins. Fantastic service and happy to recommend.

After having paid an "engineer", recommended by the local white goods retailer, to see why my frost-free freezer was varing between -18 and -12, who said it was either leaking gas or the compressor had had it, I wasn't convinced. He didn't actually do any work other than feel the heat exchanger at the back and said "it was hot". I called Howard, who called at the arranged time, quickly identified the problem, and the issue was simply rectified. EXECELLENT SERVICE AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. :)

Howard has been incredibly help. I have never spoken to him before and he helped me diagnose a problem with my 17 year old side by side fridge freezer. He also sourced and supplied a part that would fit and left it in his porch trusting me to put the money through the letterbox. Quite unusual in this day and age. So he not only saved all the food in my freezer he also saved me having to buy a new fridge freezer at £1000. He charged me just £45 in total. What's more he even spent time explaining how to fit the part when I was fitting it at 8 pm. Quite amazing!!! I would highly recommend him if you have a refrigerator problem. I know this sounds too good to be honest I am blown away be his help and service.
