I visited their shop to try and find a lock for a patio door that had broken. I was met with a blank by the usual warehouse style retailers and was faced with having to buy a whole now lock at an extortionate cost. EGG were amazing. They made time to source the part from one of their existing doors and then were kind enough to say "its on the house" - I was delighted to make a small cash contribution - but what wonderful local service - almost forgotten today. I phoned in the morning about my UPVC front door that needed repairing. They said they'd ring me back about availability and I received a call back in 5 mins saying Paul would be there that afternoon. He did a great repair on the door which now works perfectly. I e-mailed East Grinstead glass for a quote to fit some bi folding doors in place of a patio door. Paul rang me back and arranged an appointment which he cancelled via text. Which was happy with, but despite following up with him twice via text he never got back to me. I guess they do not need the work. Very disappointed as wanted to use a local company.
