We booked the taxi to Gatwick the evening before for 7:45. At 7:50 it has not arrived yet, so I called them. “Your taxi will arrive in 20 minutes” I was told. The taxi was 35 min late, we nearly missed our flight. This is not acceptable, this business is run very sloppy. Don’t use them.

Arrived on time and knew the way to my destination. The driver kept pulsing his foot on the accelerator, making the car jolt constantly until we arrived... Upon which I then felt car sick before getting on a 12 hour flight. He also drove 30 under the speed limit on most roads which was very frustrating. Other than that, I got from A to B so it wasn't terrible 🤷🏻‍♀️

Booked the day before for a 8.20 pick up to get to Gatwick. Taxi was 25 minutes late! What’s the point? Been using you for 20 years. No more.

Terribly rude when calling for a quote and then so late on the day that I had to drive in the end to a vineyard event that I couldn’t even drink at. All because their selfish driver was trying to take another job nearby before my booking. Knew what he was doing and assumed it was fine to make people wait 40 mins anyway. What a ridiculous company.

Pre-booked 2 taxis 3 days in advance from a wedding, email confirmation and everything. 10 minutes after booking time a no show so called only to be told that due to high demand they’d cancelled our taxi and diverted them elsewhere, no communication about this and told they couldn’t help, leaving us in the middle of no where. 6 other people from the wedding had the same cancellation experience. Taxi drivers from other firms waiting for their wedding guests overheard our phone conversation and asked who’d we’d book with and all laughed when we told them it was Evo as apparently well known for being unreliable. Luckily these other taxi driver were able to get us rides within 15 minutes - recommend Hayward Heath Taxi as a result!

Fine on the way to Gatwick, terrible on the return. Always the issue with all taxis. Driver was late, obviously unwell, didn't seem to have the right address. Just a poor experience. Doesn't seem to matter which taxi firm we use, other than Gatwick Cars, the official Gatwick taxis (who've now put their prices up to £48 from East Grinstead...they say you get what you pay for). I'm going to drive and park next time.

I have used this taxi company for 6 months now - not because it's any good, but because it's marginally cheaper... There are a lot of problems with Evo, but the biggest issue is management, their website and often late taxis. That being said, I've had some nice drivers using the service! However, today my driver is 50 minutes late - and upon reviewing their complaints procedure, i saw they're still 'reviewing' a complaint i made 5 MONTHS AGO! Their refund process is a complete joke and hassle - you must log it via email and if you're lucky, 'maybe' you'll get one. The site also often messes up. There's very little trust in any of the procedures and the company simply doesn't communicate well with their drivers. If your fare is cancelled for whatever reason, they often don't even call to tell you! This once made me very late to work and i was livid. Management needs to shape up big time.

I was a bit skeptical about booking EVO Taxis given all the negative reviews but everything went fine. Booked 2 days in advance for a pick-up at 3am, the driver was early and offered to stay in case my train was cancelled.

Avoid at all costs. Advance booked 2 taxis 9 hours before they were required, neither turned up, phone repeatedly put down on us when we called to find out where they were and then got called stupid by the ‘controller’ for having the audacity to ask why they accepted bookings if they had no intention of fulfilling them. Appalling service, have reported to the council.

Best experience with taxi ever! I went with tham twice! I order standard car to the airport and they came with Mercedes E Class! The driver was so kind that he was waiting for us about 20 min. Second time I use it was with BMW 5 series! Pict.. highly recommended! Will order again!
