Overall, it's a nice program. You get your main lessons, but also some games, booster and spelling sessions to balance it out. But i did have a few issues when my 11 year old tried this, as she complained that the voice that corrects you if you type a wrong key was discouraging, and once you get to the levels that account for speed, she said gold for 30 wpm was far too fast. I see her when she uses the program, and the most she can really do is 28wpm, so I can see why she's frustrated. This is all on senior, by the way. Could be just my girl, but overall its a meh from me.

Excellent software that's highly engaging for children, with games, rewards and opportunities to do extra practice alongside main lessons. I've also found it helpful as an adult learning to touch type, and particularly recommended covering the keys of a keyboard with coloured stickers or similar (there's advice about how to do this on Englishtype's website), which forces you to learn how to type by touch rather than by sight. Brilliant follow-up support too for any technical issues.

Fantastic support from Sue at English Type. A couple of issues with windows updates but Sue was happy to reset everything to get my kids back onto the system. She also provided some excellent advice on how to help my girls progress which seems to be making a difference. The girls enjoy the lessons and there is good progress when they can be made to practise!

( this is about there products not the company).Absolute rubbish! Too hard to start and once you get going, it moves onto another letter before you know the previous one. The voice is too annoying and I spent 8 months everyday doing it and I still cant do it! Isn't the whole reason the company is there is to help you type, not fail it?! Would not recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to type. Just use a free one, as they will 100% help you more than this one.
